We are again extremely excited to offer you our NEW OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENT PLAN with EMPLOYER INDEMNITY COVERAGE.  This is an Association Plan for Towing Operators with

2 to 50 employees.  We now have lower premiums and improved benefits.

 

Highlights of our Plan:

(1)    $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit per person per occurrence

(2)    Choice of $1000, $2500 or $5000 Deductible with Benefit Periods of 117 or 156 Weeks

(3)    Occupational Accident Benefits that cover employees hurt on the job (Accident Medical Benefits, Weekly Disability Benefits, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefits)

(4)    Occupational Disease/Cumulative Trauma Coverage and Waiver of Subrogation included

(5)    Employer Indemnity Coverage that Covers:

a.       Amounts Paid to settle a claim for workplace negligence brought by a covered employee as a result of a covered injury.

b.      Amounts Paid to satisfy a judgment for an employer indemnity claim.

c.       Legal Defense Costs and Expenses related to an employer indemnity claim.

d.      All Legal Defense Costs are paid outside the $1,000,000 CSL Maximum Coverage.

Special Requirements:

  1. The PEI plan has certain underwriting guidelines pertaining to claims loss ratios for the past 3 years.  Not all towing companies may qualify for this plan.
  2. We can write towing companies with more than 50 employees, but will require additional information from the towing company.

Occupational Accident & Employer Indemnity Coverage (PEI)

 

NEW & IMPROVED COVERAGE AND LOWER RATES!

 

Highlights of our Group Accident Plan:

 

Our plan offers a $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit Benefit.  AD&D is limited to the lesser of 10 times salary up to a maximum of $500,000.  Disability is 75% of salary to a maximum of $600 per week after a 7 day elimination period.  The deductible applies to both disability and medical benefits.  Losses due to occupational disease or cumulative trauma are covered and the policy contains a waiver of subrogation provision.

 

It is important to note, that on PEI products, an ERISA plan is required and the benefits stated in the ERISA plan are generally less than those shown in the PEI policy.  On a $1,000,000 CSL PEI policy, our standard ERISA plan limits the AD&D benefit to 10 times salary up to a maximum of $200,000; and all other benefits are capped at a $250,000 CSL maximum.  The ERISA plan is the document that the employees look to for their benefits.  Having the lower maximums in the ERISA plan guarantee there will be amounts left on the PEI policy for legal indemnity benefits if needed.  All Legal Defense costs are paid outside the $1,000,000 CSL maximum.

  1. There is a 2 life minimum; one life groups are not eligible.  Minimum monthly premium of $250.00.
  2. Contract laborers (1099) are not eligible for coverage.
  3. Groups must have a three-year loss ratio caveat of 50% or less to be eligible for the rates outlined above.  For a firm quotation, please provide us with documented loss data for the last three years, along with the following information:

a.       Your company names as it appears on your federal tax filings;

b.       Your federal tax identification number;

c.       The percentage of revenues generated from repossession operations; and

d.       The number of W-2 employees in each rating category listed above.

  1. Any group that exceeds 50 employees must be referred to the administrator prior to receiving approval to use the program rates.

The Highlights of this Plan are:

B.   Minimum $100,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefits

C.   Weekly Income paid at 75% Gross Monthly Income with a maximum benefit of $500 per week (7 day elimination period)

D.  After Deductible, Plan pays 100% of Covered Medical Expenses (Hospital, Physician Charges, etc.), and you have your choice of Provider.

E.   2 Year Benefit Period

F.    Monthly Rates for Drivers as low as $63.00 Per Month Per Employee, Mechanics $47.00 Per Month Per Employee, and Office Personnel $33.00 Per month Per Employee.
